Our Faith: Sharing God’s Love

At Cairn, we follow Jesus’ example of affirming and including all people.
We strive to serve God and one another
by creating a welcoming community
where we can actively explore
and live our faith in everything we do.
Cairn is owned and operated by the Presbyterian Church in Canada, under the oversight of the Synod of Central Northeastern Ontario and Bermuda. We value faith formation as an important part of wholistic growth.
We recognize that our campers and staff come from a variety of religious backgrounds, so faith conversations at camp embrace and celebrate that reality.

On the Road to 100

2025 marks 95 incredible years of camp memories, community, and connection. We’re officially On the Road to 100, and we want YOU to be a part of this exciting journey. Whether you were at camp last year or 50 years ago, you are an essential part of our story, and we’d love to celebrate with you as we look ahead to the next 100 years.
Our History
Glen Mhor Camp began in 1930 on the shores of Lake Simcoe in Beaverton, sparking a legacy of growing in God, connection and community, that continues to this day. In 1978, camp moved to the beautiful current site on Echo Lake in Baysville, where its traditions lived on and new memories were made. In 2006, Glen Mhor grew to include 5 Synod Presbyterian Camps, and the Cairn Family of Camps was formed.
While the names and locations have changed over time, the spirit of camp has remained constant. As we journey toward 100 years, we honour our beginnings, celebrate the present, and look ahead to a future filled with young leaders who will make our world a better, kinder, gentler place where everyone is welcomed and valued.
